Johnston Press is the second-worst performing company in the FTSE 350 index of shares, the Times’s Tempus column reveals today.
The column, which tipped the regional press publisher earlier this year, notes that the Johnston Press share price has nosedived more than 50 per cent in the past year, beaten only by Yell Group, which fell 66 per cent.
“I think I may have inadvertently stumbled upon a new law of investment,” Tempus wrtier Nick Hasell says. “Don’t take financial advice on newspaper publishers from newspaper journalists – at least not from this one.”
