Channel 4 has succeeded in overturning an injunction preventing it from broadcasting an interview with a former SAS officer, in which he names the alleged supporters of a plotted coup in Equatorial Guinea.
The Mail on Sunday last week reported that the channel had been hit with a seven-day injunction, brought by lawyers representing the wife of former mercenary Simon Mann. An extension was not granted by Mr Justice Eady in the High Court on Friday.
