News of the World to host Children’s Champion Awards

The News of the World is to host the Children’s Champions Awards in London to celebrate those who make a positive difference to children’s lives.

Celebrities including Sir Trevor McDonald, Dame Kelly Holmes and Myleen Klass will sit on the judging panel.

The awards will be hosted by GMTV’s Jenni Falconer and Mike Underwood.

Supported by Barnardo’s children’s charity the event will be televised for the first time and can be seen on Sky One and Sky One HD on Sunday 16 March 2008
