Arena has introduced a Black Collar Worker section aimed at those readers of the magazine who do not work a “nine to five” day, writes Ruth Addicott.
The eight-page section will appear for the first time in the May issue, out this week.
Deputy editor William Drew said the phrase “black collar worker” summed up Arena’s typical readers -young, creative professionals in non-traditional industries such as design, the arts, media and retail.
He said it would take a tongueincheek approach to careers, corporate clichés and business life, drawing attention to USinspired management speak in a “Blue Sky Bullshit” feature.
