Former Press Association IT director Kelvin Holland has been appointed head of European business development at Harris & Baseview, the publishing solutions company.
Holland trained as a journalist on regional newspapers, including the Bristol Evening Post, before moving on to national titles such as the Daily Star and The Sun, where he was assistant night editor.
He helped News International transfer operations to Wapping moving into information technology, He was systems editor at The Times and The Sun. In the early Nineties he started a TV listings company, which was acquired by PA in 1996. He was PA’s IT director from 1998 to 2003.
