has won the award for the most outstanding result in the NCTJ Public
Affairs Part One examination on local government.
She collected
her prize from Martin Watkins, acting chairman of the Local Government
Association (LGA), which sponsors the award, at a conference dinner at
the Maritime Museum in Liverpool.
Booth said: “It is a great way to promote strong links between journalism and local government.”
