Natmags seeks digital MD as part of online drive

The National Magazine Company is looking for a managing director for its digital portfolio as it prepares to launch online versions of its biggest titles.

The new role will mean responsibility for creating a digital publishing business for the group, which will launch new websites for Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping and Country Living this summer.

Natmags recently launched and and acquired

Duncan Edwards, the chief executive of NatMags, said: “We talked earlier in the year of our intention to build a scale network of on-line products, and we are making good progress with this strategy.

“We now need a senior manager to drive this new business forward, to realise our commercial objectives and to set the digital agenda for the group.”

The appointment will be made later this summer.
