McIlvanney steps down from Sunday Times post

Hugh McIlvanney, left, has stepped down as chief sports writer of The Sunday Times after nine years in the post. He will continue to write for the sports section as a columnist. His role has gone to David Walsh, right, who was British Sports Writer of the Year in 1997 and 2001.
