In his well-read media column in The Independent, pundit Stephen Glover complained this week that he was disturbed that at least three editors attended a farewell party in honour of Lord Levy, Tony Blair’s chief fundraiser.
Well, Axegrinder is able to report that one of those who didn’t go was Peter Wright, editor of the Mail on Sunday. Instead, he and his wife Dorry, as well as Daily Mail executive Sarah Sands and her husband Kim Fletcher, were rubbing shoulders at a charity dinner in aid of Children’s Hospice South West, organised by Hugo Swire, shadow minister of the arts.
Never mind Lord Levy, now there’s a good cause to be supporting!
