Hollywood
actor Orlando Bloom gave the paparazzi the cold shoulder and instead
gave an interview to his home city paper, the Kentish Gazette.
Bloom,
who has been making the headlines in recent weeks following pictures of
him with actress Sienna Miller, agreed a rare interview with the paper,
along with pictures of him with his parents.
Gazette chief
reporter Gerry Warren secured the short interview with the Lord of the
Rings star through Bloom’s mother, with whom the paper has a good
relationship. Bloom talked about Canterbury, where he was brought up
and educated, how it has changed and how he loves his mum’s veg soup.
Warren said: “I was aware that he wouldn’t want to talk about his
personal life so I didn’t push him.”
