Glamour editor Jo Elvin has come out as the highest-ranking journalist in The Hospital Club’s top 100 creative figures in London.
The list was compiled with the help of The Independent and involved a vote on by creative industries via The Hospital Club’s website. Elvin coming in at number 17.
The list was topped by graffiti artist Banksy, and was a mix of figures from sectors including film, television, music, new media, journalism, marketing PR and events, fashion, advertising and media law.
Other journalists that impressed their peers were Vogue’s deputy editor Emily Sheffield who came in at number 25; editor-in-chief of The Telegraph Media Group Will Lewis (right) at 49; editor of The Independent’s Pandora column Henry Deeds at 57; GQ deputy editor Bill Prince at 72, Guardian columnist Simon Jenkins at 88 and Shortlist editor Phil Hilton at 90.
Former News of the World editor Andy Coulson also made the list, at 60, in his role as director of communiations for the Conservative Party.
