Grainger takes over as Redwood chief executive

By Press Gazette

Keith Grainger is to become chief executive of Redwood Publishing, replacing Michael Potter – who has left to set up new venture Seven Publishing (Press Gazette, 18 July).

Michael Baulk, who is chairman and chief executive of Redwood’s parent company, Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, will take over the Redwood group as chairman.

Potter, a co-founder of Redwood in 1983, retains a link with the company as chairman emeritus, an advisory role. “I love building businesses and I am therefore very excited by this opportunity to get back into consumer magazines,” said Potter. “I will continue to watch with pride the ongoing achievements of Redwood.”

Redwood’s client list includes magazines for Marks & Spencer, Boots, Volvo, BT and Safeway.

Seven’s first title will be food magazine Delicious.
