Former South Wales Argus business editor David Barnes has set up his own PR consultancy.

Barnes made the switch from journalism to PR seven years ago, after 15 years with the South Wales Argus – eight of those heading up the business desk.

Barnes, 50, of Chepstow, Monmouthshire, started up DB Public Relations after working at Cardiff-based Working Word PR, most recently as an account director.
