Dr Jonathan Ward, who was editor of Engineering for four years, has joined agency Market Engineering as manager of its technology business sector.
He will provide editorial and technical support to the agency’s clients.
Ward has a degree in mechanical engineering and a PhD in ergonomics and biomechanics.

He joined Engineering as technical editor in 1997 before being promoted to editor two years later.
Ward said: “I had been at Engineering for six years and was looking for the next step. I knew Market Engineering was a good company and when I made the decision to cross over to PR they were the only choice. I have indepth engineering knowledge and also a lot of contacts within the industry.”
