Derbyshire back at Radio Five Live

By Press Gazette

Former BBC Radio Five Live breakfast co-presenter, Victoria Derbyshire, will mark her return to the station after the birth of her son by hosting two phonein shows on sport and current affairs.

She will be fronting a new series of the sports phone-in Rumour Mill on Saturdays between 11am and noon, from 29 May to 31 July.

And from 2 August, Derbyshire will host her own morning weekday, currentaffairs phone-in from 9am to noon. The slot was formerly presented by Julian Worricker, who now fronts the Sunday-morning show.

Derbyshire said: “I’m looking forward to starting the phone-in from August. The people who listen to this show make it the best phone-in programme on British radio with some of the most priceless moments I’ve ever heard on the airwaves.”
