CSL Publishing has acquired Sailing Today magazine from Marine Media for an undisclosed sum.
The Sailing Today editorial team will remain in their current offices at Swanwick Marina rather than transferring to the headquarters of CSL in Cambridge.
Sue Baggaley, managing director of CSL, said: “We are delighted to acquire such a prestigious title as it fits perfectly into our existing portfolio of boating magazines.
‘With five marine titles and seven websites, we now have an offering to leisure boaters of every persuasion. It makes us balanced and rounded for both readers and advertisers.
“Sailing Today, like our other acquisitions, has found a permanent home among other marine titles.
‘This acquisition is part of our overall strategy of gradual expansion in the marine and automotive markets.
“Sailing Today has a very experienced and talented team who will all transfer with the sale, ensuring the cohesion and continued success that Sailing Today has shown for many years at the forefront of the cruising market.”
