Working can be as easy as hailing a cab

Amy Winehouse’s dad Mitch has been spilling his guts yet again.

He was on ITV’s This Morning the other day talking to anyone who will listen about his struggles as the father of Britain’s hottest and most troubled pop property.

I understand that tabloid hacks have no trouble getting an interview with him. Explains one: “They simply hail his cab, and then ask him questions from the passenger seat.”

Mitch, in his ITV interview, said he continually fears for his daughter’s health.

And he admitted asking a friend to check the newspapers every day for stories about his daughter because he can’t bring himself to read them: “The newspapers never say what a lovely, caring person she is.”
