Chrysalis boosts radio news team

By Press Gazette

Chrysalis Radio’s London news team is now 15 strong as two new broadcast journalists have joined the group.

James Hartigan has returned to Chrysalis after three years working as both a freelance and in commercial programming at UBC Media, to present Weekend Live on Saturday and Sunday mornings on LBC News 1152am.

Hartigan said: “To start with I didn’t miss presenting, but having done a stint at management level, dealing with logistics behind the scenes, I did start to miss being in the front line. I went into this industry to broadcast and present, so I’m glad to be getting back to that side of things.”

Chrysalis has also recruited Leon Griffiths from Real Radio in Cardiff.

Griffiths will be working across Heart 106.2, LBC 97.3FM and LBC News.
