The BBC has announced it is closing three of its five Points of View messageboards, where viewers and listeners sound off about the broadcaster’s output.
The radio, online and digital forums will close on Friday. The TV and BBC-wide ones will remain open and will be moderated by a full-time member of staff.
The BBC said it hoped the changes “will help to create a stronger channel of communication into what the BBC does”.
