BBC moves more posts to Salford

The BBC is moving more posts to its new Salford base, the Manchester Evening News reports. It will include extra jobs for the Radio Five Live team, scrapping plans to retain a news team for the service in London.

The number of posts in Salford’s Media City is now set to be 1,620 instead of the original 1,500 by 2011.
