BBC Mags change Gardeners’ World publishing schedule

By Press Gazette

BBC Magazines has changed the publishing schedule of Gardeners' World after reader research showed that customers desire topical gardening features.

The magazine's future cover dates will tie in with the current month in time. The date change will launch from the October 2006 issue, which goes on sale on 29 September.

Gardeners' World magazine is the first BBC title to change cover dates and it is hoped the move will allow the title to better compete with weekly gardening content.
