The Daily Mirror has relaunched its website with faster download
speeds, more showbiz and 24-hour breaking news, writes Sarah Lagan.
The
editor of www.mirror.co.uk, Steve Purcell, said: “The new website is
easier to use, faster, and allows us to highlight and better promote
our range of top-drawer content, from 3am, news and sport to
columnists, horoscopes and new areas of interactive entertainment.”
The site is also designed to meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act.
This mean that readers can alter the text size from their browser and that screen readers are available.
