The Press Association is to provide the editorial for the England and Wales Cricket Board’s website www.ecb.co.uk, which relaunches this spring.
A dedicated team, based at PA’s headquarters in Howden, Yorkshire, will be responsible for generating and editing bespoke news, features and official data for the site in liaison with the ECB. The team will be led by Andy McDermott, who has worked at PA for almost six years as a sub-editor/writer covering football and cricket.
The Press Association is currently recruiting for staff to work solely on the ECB website.
PA has also been awarded a contract by the International Association of Athletics Federation to supply editorial for its website www.iaaf.org.
