Nationals use trainee’s photograph

By Press Gazette

An 18-year-old trainee photographer on the Isle of Wight County Press has already had a picture picked up by the nationals.

Georgia Russell beat 30 other applicants for the job at the weekly title.

On May 24, the same day this picture appeared across five columns in the Daily Telegraph, she was told she had successfully passed her three month’s probation.

The photo illustrated a story about neighbours seeking a noise abatement order against the Isle of Wight Hunt hounds.
