Makeover for Inside Readers’ Homes

By Press Gazette

Home interest title Inside Readers’ Homes has unveiled a new look and increased its frequency.

The magazine, which features a range of homes from country cottages to city apartments, dramatic conversions and period restorations, has moved from bimonthly to monthly from the April issue.

The redesign by art editor Stephen Powell includes new fonts, a new masthead and a different approach to the regular ‘house feature’. It follows a relaunch last year when the title increased its frequency to bimonthly.

Editor Jennifer Morgan said the new look was generated by a positive response from readers.

“The past year has proved we have a quality product that our readers love, with a great mix of homes, favourite rooms and owner sourcebook pages that cater for all tastes. But our readers wanted more and more so we had to go monthly,” she said.

Inside Readers’ Homes was originally launched in spring 2002 as a spin-off to its sister title at Highbury Leisure, Home magazine.

Home reported a rise of 5.3 per cent to 61,510 in the latest ABCs – a stronger performance than Highbury Leisure’s Inspirations for Your Home, which slipped nearly 20 per cent to 40,169.

The April issue of Inside Readers’ Homes is available now, with a cover price of £3.50.
