Guardian health editor wins cancer prize

Sarah Boseley, health editor of The Guardian, has won the first prize of €10,000 in the new Best Cancer Reporter Award, launched by the European School of Oncology. Catherine Kalamis from the Guernsey Press and Star in was awarded the second prize of €5,000. Paul Benkimoun from Le Monde (France) and Simon Crompton from The Times were awarded joint third prizes of €2,500 each.
