COMAG managing director David Garratt is to leave the group after 22 years. The National Magazine Company and Condé Nast, the owners of COMAG, last week announced his impending departure.
Garratt said: “Other horizons beckon; it’s time to check out and undertake some personal reengineering.
COMAG has become a global brand during the past 20 years. I would like to record my thanks to the hundreds of publishing clients, wholesalers and retailers who have supported us.”
Duncan Edwards, managing director of NatMags, said: “David has been an important and influential figure in the news-trade business. He has done a great job, leading COMAG for the benefit of its shareholders and clients over the past 15 years.”
A five-month interregnum is planned to allow time for Garratt’s successor to be appointed.
