Editor of Archant London's Times series Tim Cole has received an award for his commitment to budding journalists at the Lord Mayor's Dragon Awards. He was honoured with a volunteer of the year award for his work over three years pioneering a newspaper supplement written by pupils from schools across Brent. Cole said: "If just one child makes the right choice to follow a better path in life rather than get sucked down into a life of crime, then however many hours I spend working with that pupil, every minute has been worthwhile."
