Anita Anand, head of news and current affairs at Asian broadcaster Zee TV, has left to join BBC Radio Five Live.
Already a regular contributor on Five Live’s Up All Night, she will become the programme’s regular weekend presenter from 18 January.
Anand became Zee TV’s head of news and current affairs six years ago, and at the age of 24, was one of the country’s youngest television editors.
