Archant closes free London property title

By Press Gazette

Archant London has announced the closure of a free fortnightly property title for East London with immediate effect, after 15 years of publication.
East London Property Mart was an A4 advertising-only title running to 28 pages.
Archant said the closure follows a strategic review of its products and no jobs would be lost. A sister title for West Essex and East Hertfordshire is unaffected.
In a press release, publishing director John Hooker said:
"East London Property Mart has provided value for money advertising across the boroughs it has served for over a decade. But with today’s fast-moving and ever-changing demographics, East London has been transformed and with all these changes we now believe that the title no longer fits with this new dynamic audience.
We are however, currently working on a new and exciting product to replace Property Mart and will announce details shortly."
