Alison Gow appointed as editor of Wales on Sunday

Alison Gow is the new editor of WalesOnline and Wales On Sunday for Trinity Mirror.

She replaces Tim Gordon who is moving over to edit the South Wales Echo following the departure of Mike Hill to join Newport University.

Gow is currently executive editor (digital) in Merseyside for Trinity Mirror and was previously deputy editor of the Liverpool Daily Post.

Pembrokeshire-born Alison will take up her new role in January.
