Evening Standard prints extra 100,000 in Olympic push

The Evening Standard published 100,000 extra copies of a special
edition in response to news that London has beat Paristo host the 2012
Olympics.
The paper devoted ten pages to news that the
Olympic bid had been successful and the new front page was rolling of
the presses at 1.30pm, just over half an after the bid news was
announced.
Tomorror (Friday) the Standard is publishing a 16-page Olympic supplement.
