GQ has launched a six-monthly men’s fashion spin-off, GQ Style, that will rival Emap’s Arena Homme Plus on the newsstand.
The
title, priced £5 and available from 22 September, will offer a
standalone “grooming” section and include features on home and
interiors as well as art, media and travel.
The title will be
produced with input from David Bradshaw (pictured), former creative
director of Prada and Miu Miu Menswear and consultant for Arena Homme
Plus.
He will be joined by art directors Erik Tortensoon and Jens
Grede, formerly of Wink Media, and David Lamb, former fashion editor at
i-D.
Editor-in-chief Dylan Jones said: “Unlike some men’s
biannuals, GQ Style will not just be a lot of fashion stories stuck
together.
“There will be real content, real editorial, and enough
fashion and features to keep you going for six months, not five
minutes.”
