Eddy Lawrence, who has worked for
Select (Reviews Editor), Big Issue (Music Editor) and Jack (Features Editor),
has been appointed music eEditor of Time Out by editor Gordon Thomson. He is to replace Chris Salmon, who
leaves in June to pursue a freelance and broadcast career.
Lawrence's experience covers contributions as a writer to NME and Melody Maker, Mixmag,
Ministry, Muzik, Q, Modern Review, Jockey Slut, Kerrang!, Smash Hits, The Face
and many other titles. In addition to writing and editing, he has also acted as
an Editorial Consultant for EMAP, JBCP and the multimedia agency Outside
Line.
He has also worked as Music Director at Granada/LWT, hosted a TV
show with David Walliams and recently collaborated with French artist Bernard de
Souzy on the coffee table history of rock 'n' roll, Art Rocks.
