The Sun has geared up its political coverage ahead of the expected 6 May general election by publishing a daily YouGov nationwide opinion poll.
According to The Sun, the daily YouGov poll will draw on the polling company’s 300,000-strong online database.
Under the deal, YouGov will also provide The Sun with weekly polls on issues in the news.
YouGov president Peter Kellner claimed that the deal created “the world’s first truly daily polling service”.
