Publishing company Square One has won the contract to produce Skystore, the in-flight magazine for Britannia Airways.
The 136-page title is distributed to passengers – mostly holidaymakers – on board Britannia flights.
It will be published quarterly and feature information on in-flight entertainment as well as celebrity interviews, travel, fashion and shopping.
The first issue produced by Square One has been timed to coincide with the launch of Britannia’s new retail range in April. It will have a print run in excess of 105,000.
Simon Chappell, director at Square One, said he hoped to boost the celebrity content and the magazine’s overall coverage of in-flight entertainment.
“We aim to make Skystore livelier, fun and more entertaining, by increasing celebrity coverage and showcasing in-flight entertainment, all of which will help improve its effectiveness.”
Chappell said he wanted to try to differentiate Skystore from rival inflight publications and make it “essential reading” for passengers.
“Our aim is to make passengers feel inspired, excited and put a smile on people’s faces,” he added.
