This Saturday’s edition of The Guardian’s Weekend magazine will be handed over to short stories, six of which have been written exclusively and three of which have never been published in the UK, writes Mary Stevens.
The stories will take over the magazine, with the exception of the regular columnists.
The writers whose work will be featured include Dave Eggers, the author of A Heartbreaking Work Of Staggering Genius and You Shall Know Our Velocity, Michel Faber, AM Homes, Jackie Kay, Haruki Murakami, Julie Myerson, Ali Smith, Alan Warner and playwright Arthur Miller.
Katharine Viner, editor of Weekend magazine, said: “We’re thrilled to have drawn together such an eclectic collection.”
