The Gazette, the magazine for the John Lewis Partnership, has been relaunched.
New editor Sally Templeton Ferrari, who was previously editor of the Daily Express Saturday Magazine, has led the revamp, alongside consultant editor David Allsop, ex-Daily Mail’s Weekend, consultant designer Christine Sullivan from the Marks & Spencer magazine, and the Gazette’s previous team.
The magazine has a new masthead and has transformed from its previous A4 format to almost tabloid size 285 x 375mm.
Ferrari said reactions had been positive. “The responsibility of this was just mega,” she added.
The magazine prides itself on being the oldest in-house journal, having launched in 1918 and produced an issue every week for the past 85 years. It has a current print run of 40,000 and a readership of 70,000.
