Editor Jane Parbury has left Ideal Home magazine after 12 months. IPC said she had “resigned to concentrate on new career challenges”.
Parbury, who was on holiday this week and unavailable for comment, issued a statement saying: “It’s been great fun working on the 25 Beautiful titles and Ideal Home, particularly with such brilliantly talented people, and I’d just like to say a big thank you to them all.” She previously edited 25 Beautiful Homes and 25 Beautiful Kitchens. Since joining Ideal Home, she has been shortlisted for best editor and magazine in the PPA Awards.
Ideal Home publishing director Yvonne Ramsden said Parbury had “worked tirelessly to raise the profile of the title within the industry and with consumers”.
