The Press Association has revealed a major expansion of its multimedia showbiz news service with 11 staff working in the US and UK producing up to 40 news stories a day.
Premier Showbiz launches on 17 July and will provide content for websites, print and mobile phones.
According to PA: "The service will integrate rolling news coverage with gossip, features, video and audio clips and live images."
In partnership with celebrity picture agency EMPICS Entertainment, a team of photographers will cover celebrity, film, fashion and what it calls "soft paparazzi" non-diary images.
The service will include audio and video content.
