Nominations out for Scottish Press Awards

The Herald and The Scotsman have secured the highest number of nominations in this year’s Scottish Press Awards which will be announced at a dinner in Glasgow on 20 April.

This is the 27th year of the awards which are organised by the Scottish Daily Newspaper Society, and the two morning rival dailies each picked up 13 nominations.

They were closely followed by Scotland on Sunday, with 11 nominations and the Sunday Herald and Daily Record, which both garnered nine.
