Natmags has appointed its first digital advertisement director as
part of ongoing plans to build "a significant" online business.
Niall
Hogan, previously sales director at Emap Interactive will take up the
post as Natmags prepares to launch sites for its big brands like
Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping and Country Living. The company bought
www.netdoctor.co.uk earlier this year and said it planned six online
launches this year to expand its online portfolio which would also
include "category branded" sites like www.babyexpert.co.uk, which uses
content from Prima Baby magazine.
Duncan Edwards, Natmags CEO
said: "We believe the time is right to develop a profitable presence
across all digital platforms where consumers want to engage with our
brands. We are developing different yet complementary businesses to our
magazines that are underpinned by compelling content and community
features."
