Marie Claire web traffic spikes during Fashion Week

By Press Gazette

Marieclaire.co.uk saw a spike in traffic during London Fashion Week, according to publisher IPC.

The site experienced a 16 per cent increase in users and a 56 per cent increase in page impressions over the previous week, the company said.

Marieclaire.co.uk’s coverage included blogs, front row catwalk reports, photo galleries of each show, and backstage videos.

Its Marie Claire TV channel, available on the site and on YouTube, featured once- or twice-daily video updates including fashion news, celebrity interviews and expert opinion from the designers, hair and make-up artists and models.

In August, Marieclaire.co.uk had 150,000 unique users and 1.4m page impressions according to IPC.
