Overall sales in the women’s weekly sector fell 10.9 per cent year on year to 6,282,853 with every title declining.
Among the best-performing titles were H Bauer Publishing’s Take a Break, which continues to lead the market with sales of 786,849 (down 2.1 per cent year on year), and IPC Media’s Woman magazine, which reported sales of 279,362 (down 2.6 per cent year on year).
Several magazines, however, reported double-digit drops year on year, including Richard Desmond’s OK! (down 24.8 per cent to 355,969) and Star (down 28.9 per cent 288,533).
Hearst Magazine’s Reveal also suffered a big drop in sales, down 25.1 per cent to 233,186.
