Joely Carey, the former acting editor at Love It, has joined the News of the World‘s Fabulous magazine.
Carey, who was Love It’s deputy editor until last month, edited the title in 2008 during founding editor Karen Pasquali Jones’s maternity leave.
She has also worked for the Daily Mail’s Femail section, Pick Me Up and That’s Life.
Carey said: “Fabulous magazine has established itself as the market-leading women’s weekly in a very short time and I’m delighted to be part of such a vibrant and creative team.”

Last week, Fabulous promoted associate editor Rachel Richardson to executive editor.
