The Guardian has joined forces with Another Magazine to provide dual fashion coverage coinciding with the start of London Fashion Week, writes Jean Morgan.
The Saturday Weekend magazine on 15 February will feature The Guardian’s own Fashion Handbook for spring/summer 2003, and is accompanied by a 32-page ‘taster” of the latest issue of Another Magazine, the biannual fashion title published by the Dazed Group.
Katharine Viner, editor of Weekend magazine, said: “The Fashion Handbook has everything readers need to know for the spring/summer season, brilliant photography and the best kind of fashion writing – stylish, informative, and very witty.” The Fashion Handbook is a 56-page round-up of the latest trends for the next six months.
It identifies key looks for men and women, previews the hairstyles of the season, and showcases more than 60 new shoes and bags.
It also features an interview with veteran British designer Betty Jackson.
The handbook is edited by The Guardian fashion team of Jess Cartner-Morley, Charlie Porter, Hadley Freeman and Laura Barton.
