FTpm extends run to regions

By Press Gazette

The Financial Times is to make its free afternoon briefing, FTpm,
available in the regions as well as Scotland and Ireland, following its
launch in London.

The briefing, which is available in print and
online every weekday afternoon, can now be delivered to corporate
clients in Birmingham, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds and
Manchester. The initial print run over the six cities is 12,000 copies
and these will be available daily from 4pm.

The printed copies
will be in the same A4 format as the briefing launched earlier this
year in London, with two sides of the day’s top business news stories,
comment and analysis.

Readers will also be able to download and print copies of FTpm via the PDF service on FT.com at www.ft.com/ftpm.

The Bank of Scotland is sponsoring the launch for the first eight weeks.

Financial
Times editor Andrew Gowers said: “Our readers can now stay up to date
with breaking news as well as receiving timely comment and analysis.”
