Former BBC Look North anchor Helen Fospero has joined the Five News and Sky News presenting teams.
Fospero,
who has presented some 5.30pm and 7pm programmes for Five News over the
past couple of months, will be a regular face on the service, joining
presenters Kirsty Young and Kate Gerbeau. She will also present on Sky
News.
Fospero (pictured) previously worked for the BBC, where she
anchored the flagship news programme Look North from 2002 for two and a
half years.
She moved back to the UK from America, where she had spent three years as US correspondent for GMTV.
In
that role, Fospero witnessed the collapse of the World Trade Centre on
11 September and provided extensive live coverage of the terrorist
atrocity from the scene.
