Junior reporter wanted for The York Dungeon to blog during the summer holiday season and investigate the mystery of Jack the Ripper. Inquisitive and persistent enough to get to the bottom of the story, you are also a natural wordsmith, excellent writer and good puzzle solver.

Location: York, Yorkshire.

Vacancy for writer/reporter (£20K-£29K). You will have a degree (or equivalent) in journalism or communications with subsequent experience in and demonstrable understanding of relevant science/technology, along with high-level English writing skills.

Location: The UK.

Scientific reporter/writer (£22K-£28K) required. You must be a scientist with excellent written skills, experience in delivering written copy based on scientific and technical content, great research and information gathering ability, and understanding of trade press/digital/social media outputs.

Location: Gloucester.
