Women in Journalism is running a masterclass in ethical feature writing on Monday at the Royal Commonwealth Society, 18 Northumberland Avenue, London WC2.
The seminar, “Making a Difference – How your words can change lives”, will explore better ways to cover sensitive issues and the hidden damage in inaccurate reporting.
Panellists will include former director of Amnesty International, Marie Staunton, now chief executive of Plan UK; science and health writer Dr Sophie Petit-Zeman; journalist and mental health campaigner Liz Main; independent lawyer James O’Keefe and journalist Yvonne Roberts.
